Puck drops both nights at 7:30pm BROWN BEARS SWEEP WENATCHEEThe Kenai River Brown Bears swept the host Wenatchee (Wash.) Wild on Friday and Saturday in North American Hockey League play. Both victories came in extra time — Friday’s 3-2 win in a shootout and Saturday’s 3-2 win in overtime. Kenai River is now 5-0 this year in overtime. Dating back to last season, the Brown Bears have also won four of their last five games in Wenatchee, which is a tough place to play. Saturday night’s contest drew 3,007 fans. The Kenai River Brown Bears defeated the Fresno (Calif.) Monsters in a shootout Saturday at the Soldotna Sports Center in North American Hockey League action. The Bears took the game 2-1 and the shootout 3-2 in front of 922 fans. CLICK HERE for the entire article! BEARS CRUSH MONSTERS IN OT!
The Kenai River Brown Bears erased a one-goal deficit in regulation and Zac Lazzaro scored in overtime, propelling the squad to a 5-4 win over the previously undefeated Fresno (Calif.)
